SEB 2000 · Sink-integrated · Automated

The sink,
reimagined as a cleanroom.

For new CSSD builds and full refits where the pre-cleaning workflow gets built into the counter: auto-fill water, rinse faucet, contactless cycle, full barcoded traceability.

The cycle

A controlled cycle, at the sink, hands-free.

With contactless mode enabled, the cycle progresses through phases automatically. The operator handles the scope, not the touchscreen, between phases.

  1. 1

    Leak test

Continuous test before and throughout the cycle. Optionally combined with water-and-chemical fill or run separately.

  2. 2

    Cleaning

Pulsatile flow through every channel with automatic detergent loading. Operator, scope, and chemical canister all identified by barcode.

  3. 3

    Rinse

Channel-by-channel rinse. Brushing tips are logged. Step confirmation can run in contactless mode.

  4. 4

    Final rinse

Final clean-water pass with the auto-fill rinse faucet. Cycle data prints and exports automatically.

Every phase duration is fully customisable per your internal protocol. Multiple programmes available (leak-test only, short, standard, intensive, custom).

Built for new CSSDs

One sink. One system. No retrofit overhead.

  • Contactless operation

SEB 2000 is contactless. The system can be operated by gesture for hands-free workflow.

  • Modular installation

SEB 2000 is a modular unit — especially helpful for new CSSD projects. There's no need to install a separate vacuum pump, flushing system, or multiple sinks. The entire pre-cleaning process completes in one sink, replacing the conventional three-sink setup and saving significant floor space.

Standards & compliance

MDR-compliant, ISO 9001 + 13485 built, CSV-auditable.

SEB 2000 ships with the additional ISO 9001:2015 quality framework on top of the 13485/14971 medical-device baseline. Every cycle's data (operator, scope, chemistry, timing, brushing tips, alarms) exports as CSV.

FAQ

Common questions for SEB 2000 installations.

What's the difference between SEB 1000 and SEB 2000?
SEB 2000 is a stainless-steel sink itself, with the automated pre-cleaning system integrated into the counter. SEB 1000 is a desktop unit that sits next to your existing sink. SEB 2000 adds chemical-canister barcode traceability, auto-fill water + rinse faucet, contactless cycle confirmation, and an optional second dosing pump.
Does the SEB 2000 replace our existing AER?
No. It automates the pre-cleaning step that happens before reprocessing in your AER. Your existing reprocessor continues to handle high-level disinfection.
Can SEB 2000 retrofit our existing sink?
SEB 2000 installs into a pre-existing counter. If your current CSSD is set up for a counter swap, yes. If retrofit isn't feasible, the SEB 1000 desktop unit gives you the same cycle without renovating.
What is 'contactless mode'?
The SEB 2000 can run the cycle with automatic step confirmation. The operator doesn't need to acknowledge each phase. Useful for high-throughput CSSDs where hands-free operation reduces touch-points and accelerates throughput.
Which scope brands are supported?
All major brands: Olympus, Pentax, Fujinon, Storz, Wolf, and others. The manual washing kits supplied with your existing scopes work with SEB 2000 without extra cost.
What about water connection and drain requirements?
Water connection is G 3/8" for hot and cold. Drain is G 1-1/2" or Ø 40 mm. Hot water input should be 20–40 °C. Standard hospital CSSD plumbing meets these requirements.
Service, training, and warranty in India?
Yes. Adyant Healthcare provides installation, operator training, consumable supply, and on-site service from Hyderabad. Contact us for warranty terms specific to your installation.
Does the SEB use any device that can damage the scope?
The scope is connected to the SEB using the manual connector provided by the OEM. There is no other device involved in the cleaning cycle, and the scope is not exposed to mechanical or chemical risk beyond what the manufacturer permits.
Does the SEB help prevent hospital-acquired infections (HAI)?
SEB significantly reduces cross contaminations and thereby reduces possibility of HAI. SEB strengthens the pre-cleaning step that's historically linked to outbreaks. Doesn't replace the AER; it addresses the documented weak link before it.
Does the SEB help reduce antibiotic use and antimicrobial resistance?
Healthcare-associated infections often drive antibiotic prescriptions in hospitals. By reducing residual bioburden during pre-cleaning — the most documented variable step in the reprocessing chain — SEB helps lower the risk of device-related infections, which in turn supports antibiotic stewardship and reduces pressure on broader-spectrum antibiotics that drive resistance.
